The Guidance Center (TGC) is the Community Mental Health Center and Certified Behavioral Health Clinic serving Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties in Kansas. We provide high-quality care to all individuals, regardless of their financial circumstances. At our center, we offer a unique combination of counseling, case management, psychosocial, and medication services, all under one roof. We are deeply committed to our clients and are dedicated to implementing a comprehensive model of care. The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking a CSS Clinician I. This individual provides clinical services to clients served by the Community Support Services team, completing screens/intakes and appropriate assessments, conducting therapy sessions, and providing necessary support. Evenings Required (1+ days per week after 5 pm). EDUCATION AND LICENSURE: Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or Professional Counseling, and licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a LMSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC or LCMFT by the first day of employment EXPERIENCE: Required: two semester's master-level practicum experience in a clinical setting providing assessment and therapy services Preferred: post master's clinical experience, and experience with the Kansas system of community-based mental health care and associated evidence-based practices.
