Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Manage projects from inception through completion, ensuring technical quality and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to early career professionals within the team.
  • Perform detailed site-civil design, including grading, drainage, and utility layout.
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater management and floodplain studies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and obtain local, state, and federal permits for projects.
  • Develop business skills relevant to consulting, such as client relationship management and proposal development
  • Lead a team of early and mid career professionals to complete projects.
  • Develop into a leader for an existing or future practice.


Education and Licensure

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering (required)
  • Advanced degree in environmental or civil engineering (preferred)
  • Professional Engineer Licensure (required)


Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 7 years (8+ preferred) of direct site civil engineering and consulting experience (required); or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
  • Managing complex interdisciplinary projects for private and public sector clients
  • Effective business development and client management skills
  • Technical leadership for civil design and site layout
  • Task and project management. (required)
  • Strong oral and technical writing skills. (required)
  • Relevant engineering software. (e.g., AutoCAD Civil3D, SWMM, HydroCAD, and ArcGIS. (preferred)
  • Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
