Nurse Practitioner - Behavioral Health
Washington DC Pay From: $85 per hour MUST: 2+years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certified preferred Licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the District of Columbia Experienced with behavioral health and licenses as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Psychiatric Medication Management experience Recently credentialed with Medicaid and Medicare Master's Degree in Nursing BLS, ACLS and PALC Certification Active DEA Licensure Master's Degree in Nursing required DUTIES: The duties of the Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner include but are not limited to the following: Provide clinical support to the Behavioral Health team Collaborate with external providers, and incorporate health and wellness plan of care to patients Examine and assess paients to determine physical and mental health Review patient's history and symptoms Determine nature of disorders and implement care plan Assess patients with emergent and urgent care needs and make clinical determinations Complete documentation and billing for Handle ongoing psychiatric management, as well as medication management, psychotherapeutic support, and crisis intervention Provide patient education and provide health management Refers patients for required services Work with clinical supervisors, community support specialists, and administrative support staff to coordinate patient care Respond to voicemails and emails and treatment providers Document clinical care and services provided; and Utilize evidence-based standards, gui Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
