Automation Test lead/Manager
Location: Oakland CA

Required Qualifications:
* Good on UI automation with Java Selenium with working knowledge on Healthcare Member Portal automation.
o Highly skilled and experienced Automation Testing Lead. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in automation testing and demonstrate the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
o This role requires a proactive leader who can oversee the entire delivery process and take on significant responsibilities.
o Expertise in UI based application testing using Selenium, TestNG/Cucumber, Java, Eclipse and Maven build tools.
o Good knowledge of backend SQL querying skills writing different complex JOINS
o Able to perform testing for Restful API Services using Soap UI, Insomnia or other tools.
o Excellent client handling and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables.
o Good understanding and working knowledge of JMeter and performance testing like Load Testing, Stress Testing, Scalability Testing, Reporting, Integration.

Roles/Responsibilities:
* Lead an overall 6-8-member quality engineering team by mentoring the team and ensure all products delivered meet the quality standards.
o Performed Quality Engineering services for UI based application using Selenium (Hands-on experience), TestNG, Java and Maven build tools.
o Good knowledge of backend SQL querying skills writing different complex JOINS
o Strong in communication and ability to represent Cognizant in a client facing environment
o Basic familiarity on Jmeter based on Performance Testing
o Able to perform testing for Restful API Services using Soap UI, Insomnia other tools.
o Design and build different automation test scenarios. Collaborate with developers and functional testing team on technical implementation
o Actively support Quality Engineering and Dev Ops practices during all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
o Coordinate with development teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
o Implement Agile methodologies to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
o Experience in GitHub and CICD pipeline is preferred

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$96,000 - $112,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
