Title:Instructor in English (1-Year Temporary) Concentration:Undergraduate Division: Provost's Office Department: College of Liberal Arts FLSA Status:Exempt Salary Range:Annual Salary EEO Job Group:2 C6 Position Summary The Department of English at the University of Southern Indiana, a public university in Evansville, Indiana, invites applications for a one-year, non-renewable instructor to teach fact-to-face first-and second-year composition courses. Appointment will begin August 2025. Duties/Responsibilities The English Instructor will be expected to engage in department and university service activities, and teach 12 credit hours per semester, a 4/4 load, that includes basic writing and undergraduate rhetoric and composition courses. Required Knowledge and Skills A Master's degree in English and demonstrated success teaching college-level rhetoric and composition are required.
