This is where you and your skills come in. We're currently looking for: The RingCentral Carrier Sales Engineer is a technical pre-sales specialist, responsible for partnering with AT&T Business segments, direct sellers, and their Channel Partners to drive technical sales of AT&T Office@Hand in the US Western States.

A Carrier Sales Engineer should have in-depth knowledge on the entire RingCentral Ecosystem including other UCaaS solutions, Legacy voice, data networking, and security.

Primary responsibilities include general partner enablement and training, conducting remote and onsite product demonstrations, co-selling, prospect network readiness, and solution validation via Proof of Concepts (POC) for sales opportunities. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to business development, monitoring and supporting SE collaborative teams, manage customer feature requests and document for product team, lab testing, continued education on the platform and underlying technologies, and support AT&T's related internal and customer facing events.

Responsibilities

The primary objectives include working with end customers and partners to understand and translate their business requirements into solutions that can deliver business benefits. This also includes partner enablement and training, carrying our remote and onsite product demonstrations, and solution validation via Proof of Concepts (POC) for sales opportunities.

Job Duties:

  • Align with key AT&T and Channel Partners to better understand opportunities and support requirements

  • Provide in-region onsite support for AT&T and Customers

  • Meet with the AT&T technical teams to serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the solutions jointly created by RingCentral and AT&T

  • Communicate AT&T Office@Hand and RingCentral value proposition to AT&T Sales and Technical Sales teams as well as targeted business customers

  • Coordinate with RingCentral AT&T Office@Hand sales team, AT&T sales teams, AT&T Cloud Voice overlay team, and AT&T Sales Engineering teams to develop Sales Plans and Target Account Plans

  • Ability to demonstrate AT&T Office@Hand solution to AT&T Sales/Technical Sales teams and targeted business customers

  • Partner with Product team stakeholders to develop and prioritize Product roadmap

  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external aligned Partners and resources

  • Partner with the team to evaluate new technical solutions to meet or exceed prospect and customer requirements

  • Keep up to date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services

  • Support and participate, with other Sales Engineers, in performing advanced technical presentations for customers, and prospects, both remotely and in-person.

  • Develop and maintain expert understanding of all RingCentral applications and products

  • Represent AT&T/RingCentral at conferences, industry, and sales events

  • Actively participate as a SME for RingCentral products and technologies

  • Responsible for continued education on the platform and underlying technologies

  • Become that trusted advisor into the Sales and Pre Sales community, providing world class operational and technical support when needed

  • Provide direct support for the technical fulfillment of RFI's, RFQ's and RFP's in their assigned territory

To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

  • 5+ years of experience serving in the capacity of a Technical Sales Engineer in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment, or equivalent, relevant experience

  • 5+ years of experience working in Solution Sales Engineering capacity selling directly to Service Providers

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership to the account team and engineers

  • Ability to teach other members of the team and effectively manage a team of highly skilled Sales Engineers

  • Must be able to coordinate across various groups and functional teams

  • Ability to apply solutions, technology and products to a business opportunity

  • Ability to partner and work in a co-selling environment with multiple cross functional teams

  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout assigned region and manage flexible schedule

  • Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in one or more of the following areas of specialization: Voice, Video, Mobile Communications

  • Knowledge of VoIP, IMS, and data networking protocols

  • Understanding of Service Providers provisioning, billing, and integration processes

  • Understanding of customer communications requirements and business drivers for enterprise business markets

  • Competitive knowledge including solution, technology and product offerings

  • Demonstrates the ability to excel at understanding and communicating complex technical solutions and issues

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military and/or work experience

  • Experience with AT&T/RingCentral is a strong plus

  • Moderate travel may be required

If you are hired in California, the compensation range for this position is between $133,700 and $248,300 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
