Job Title: Services Support Representative

Location(s): Salt Lake City, UT

(Remote)

Job Summary:

Provides technical assistance and support via phone, email, or chat for issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripherals. Diagnoses, researches, and resolves user-reported incidents, ensuring secure and effective desktop operations. Supports onboarding of new employees, including configuration of workstations and setup of system access. Maintains service records, ensures timely ticket resolution, and meets or exceeds Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to moderately complex technical inquiries, leveraging guidelines and experience to resolve issues.
  • Provide support for hardware, software, client-specific and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, and network/user administration.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to appropriate resolver teams or vendors.
  • Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot user incidents efficiently.
  • Assist Level 1 support agents with questions and provide guidance on handling client issues and service requests.
  • Manage onboarding tasks including setup of laptops/desktops, user profiles, security access, and account credentials.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or service desk role.
  • Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS), enterprise software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
