As a New Business Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex new business applications from initial receipt through to final closure. This role demands a high level of professionalism, technical aptitude, and the ability to build strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of new business case processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from submission through closure.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal partners and external clients regarding case status, requirements, and resolution of issues.
- Prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining service standards, even during peak periods or under tight deadlines.
- Use sound judgment to resolve complex case issues and make exception decisions when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of insurance operations, products, and related concepts.
- For roles handling Individual Life products, strong knowledge of business and estate planning, and personal case structures is essential.
- High proficiency in computer systems, with strong keyboarding and data entry skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism, tact, and diplomacy in challenging interactions.
- Proven decision-making ability, especially in complex casework and exception handling.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining accuracy and turnaround expectations.
- Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse and demanding distribution channels.
- Must be a team-oriented professional with a positive, solutions-driven attitude.
- Strong leadership and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence and inspire others.
- Ability to acquire and maintain deep product knowledge across all lines of business.
