Location: Position can be performed from any U.S. company office location, with opportunity for office and remote work.

The Operations
Solutions team is an Information Systems (IS) team that supports software and
applications used by Estimating, VDC, and field operation teams at Turner.

Position
Description:
A Business Support
Analyst supports and improves operations processes and technology, collaborates
with IS and operations teams to standardize and innovate, gathers software
requirements, tests system functionality, and provides general end user support
and training.

Essential Duties
& Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the efficiency of operations processes and software, research new & evolving software & technology, and work with our team and business partners to continuously improve our technology landscape.
  • Collaborate with our IS team and business partners to establish standard processes as well as innovation across the company.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by exploring automation opportunities
  • Gather requirements for software that is built in-house or that we need to acquire.
  • Create test scripts and execute functional testing for new system functionality and upgrades.
  • Provide service desk support for operations software, evaluate support trends, and recommend system or process changes for commonly occurring issues using data from support tickets.
  • Communicate with our Power Users, Super Users, and project teams regarding software issues that have widespread impact, providing status updates and resolution details.
  • Develop and distribute end user communications, such as Knowledge Base Articles, FAQs on TKN help sites, and Organizational Change Management (OCM) to provide a consistent information channel and self-service options for operations staff.
  • Develop training materials and facilitate training events, such as webinars and national support calls.
  • Incorporation of lean practices in all duties, ensuring continuous improvement of all operations technology.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree (or in pursuit of Bachelor's Degree or with Bachelor's Degree) from accredited degree program in functional business area (e.g., Construction, HR, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Computer Science, Operations, Management) and minimum of 5 years of related experience in related functional business area, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Proficient business acumen and knowledgeable with assigned functional business area processes
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service delivery skills
  • Demonstrate effective decision-making skills with analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork with individuals across organizational levels
  • Professional and clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate to non-technical audiences and tailor communications appropriately
  • Experience using continuous improvement principles and concepts
  • Work calmly under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Supervisory experience, able to delegate and guide others
  • Project management experience, able to prioritize and manage concurrent activities for self and others
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office suite of applications, and collaboration tools
  • Experience with or interest in learning low-code/no-code tools
    (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform), scripting, or developing custom
    applications is a plus.
  • Limited travel
