Primary function of the Assistant position:

Responsible for the fair and consistent administration and communication of all Crowder employment policies and procedures. Focus on employment processes and team workflow needs with an emphasis on day-to-day tasks supporting both Benefits and Personnel Teams.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

Assisting the Benefits and Personnel Teams with day-to-day tasks including data entry, data validation, and employee communications related to:



  • Benefit enrollments, including new hire and qualifying life events as well as open enrollment
  • Wellness program activity tracking, communications, and wellness event assistance
  • New hire onboarding and employee maintenance, including employee document verifications and data entry into payroll and HRIS systems, as needed
  • Processing employment verification requests
  • Assist with government contract reporting and government compliance data reporting
  • Assist with other projects and duties, as assigned


Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience:



  • Minimum of two (2) years of direct administrative experience required
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight time constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills required (Microsoft 365); experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and similar functions required
