Job Description

The Global Cross Border team is responsible for defining the Cross Border business strategy across travel and eCommerce and managing its execution across our five regions, working closely with market teams and cross-functional partners around the world.

The Cross Border business is a key pillar of Visa's strategy and one of the largest growth opportunities. Equally, it faces many complex and interesting challenges, touching all areas of Visa's business, including products, pricing, legal, regulatory, marketing, client engagement, and partnership development.

As a Strategy Analyst, you will play an important role in driving the growth and development of our Cross Border business through initiatives focused on issuers, merchants, and end-consumers that deliver cross border growth and value creation.

The successful candidate will work on innovative strategies that enhance our Cross Border value proposition and effectively target our global customer segments. By leveraging market insights, customer analytics, and competitive intelligence, you will develop and implement strategies across product, loyalty, offers, benefits, consulting marketing services, and key customer segments. This role will interact with regional, market, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Cross Border, functional, and product teams to structure and solve business problems. Collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations.
  • Create rigorous analytic and strategic frameworks for evaluating opportunities.
  • Structure and execute research related to customers, competitors, current, and potential new strategic initiatives.
  • Manage ongoing performance tracking and evaluation across global priority areas.
  • Support development of executive-level communications and manage day-to-day cross-functional partnership and engagement.
  • Develop executive presentations and execute ad hoc analyses to support strategy development and reporting.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Prior experience in a strategic or analytical role within a global organization.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to structure analyses and interpret complex data and market trends.
  • Motivated self-starter with project management experience and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills. Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Project management ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-functional work experience and understanding of international markets a plus.
  • Experience in financial services and payments and multilingual capabilities are a plus.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 117,600.00 to 166,150.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
