As a Director, Business Planning & Analysis, supporting the US Contact Lens teams, you will be trusted with long-term business strategy & planning work focused on facilitating and developing the organization's medium and long-term goals at Fort Worth, TX. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Identifying growth opportunities, business model innovation, and facilitating cross-business unit initiatives.

• Evaluating and financial modeling of potential merger, acquisition, divestment, partnership and joint venture opportunities.

• Monitoring medium to long-term business trends/outlooks, gathering competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership.

• Analyzing and managing medium and long-term capital expenditure and project approval decisions.

• Review corporate governance, balanced score card performance, and participate in the annual business planning cycle.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+6 yrs)

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.

• 10 Years of Relevant Experience

• 6 Years of Demonstrated Leadership

Preferred requirements:

• CPA or CMA

• Prior leadership experience.

• Strong financial background including commercial experience.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills (incl. ability to synthesize, simplify, and convey story/messages concisely).

• Ability influence key stakeholders with different interests/disciplines and see big picture.

• Ability to manage complexity and simplify/standardize outcomes.
