We're seeking a Digital Asset Management Specialist to join our dynamic team and take ownership of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and creative problem-solver to help shape and elevate how our assets are organized, accessed, and leveraged across the business.

About the Role:

As our Digital Asset Management Specialist, you'll be responsible for the daily administration, optimization, and governance of our DAM system. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage asset workflows, establish metadata and taxonomy standards, and provide training and support to ensure a seamless user experience. This role is perfect for someone who loves both structure and creativity, with a passion for organization, digital tools, and storytelling through content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of our Digital Asset Management system (DAM), overseeing asset ingestion, metadata tagging, categorization, archiving, and file governance.
  • Develop and maintain metadata schemas, taxonomy structures, file-naming conventions, and asset lifecycle workflows.
  • Monitor and improve DAM processes and system performance by staying up to date on industry trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Administer system permissions and user groups, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and data security.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and business teams to support their digital asset needs, ensuring timely and accurate access to resources.
  • Develop and deliver DAM training materials and onboarding resources for new users while championing system adoption and engagement.
  • Analyze asset usage data and create reports to optimize asset performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist with creative production projects as needed, providing asset support and light creative work within Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Lead and support DAM system enhancements, migrations, and integrations with other marketing technology platforms when applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Communication Arts, Library Science, Information Management, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in DAM systems, metadata management, taxonomy development, and digital rights management (DRM).
  • Strong understanding of digital file formats and asset management best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based DAM platforms (e.g. Bynder, Widen, Brandfolder) a plus.
  • Knowledge of DAM system integrations with CMS and PIM platforms preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro).
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for structure, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Experience with project management tools like Wrike, Asana, or Monday.com.
