Reporting into the Social Intelligence Manager within the Commercial Excellence organization, the Social Intelligence Senior Analyst will be a crucial addition to a team whose mission is to create an adaptive, industry-leading Social Intelligence capability for Nestle USA that is considered a trusted source of actionable, real-time insight into consumer perception & culture. The Social Intelligence capability has been built over the last two years to support stakeholders across Consumer & Marketplace Insights, Social Strategy & Community, Foresight, Innovation, Category Strategy, Corporate Communication, Brand Marketing and other teams, with 2025's goal being to fully embed the capability throughout Nestle USA and empower stakeholders to act upon real-time social media insights. Once the capability is fully embedded into Nestle USA's stakeholder teams, the Social Intelligence Senior Analyst's long-term role will evolve into robust stakeholder relationship building with teams across the organization, working hand-in-hand with stakeholders to provide consistent & timely insights into our brands' opportunities while forging a continuous feedback loop from stakeholders that informs capability optimizations as AI-driven technology and consumer behavior continues to evolve. The Senior Analyst will be expected to balance supporting the embedding & democratization efforts while also fulfilling ad-hoc research requests using our best-in-class technology stack. The role will work in collaboration with other stakeholders within the Center of Demand Generation, including but not limited to Foresight, Digital Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Consumer Insights, Shopper Insights and Innovation, to provide capabilities and services that consistently identify, generate & distribute actionable & timely insights to Nestle USA's 25+ brands. The Senior Analyst will be expected to work with our stakeholder teams to understand Nestle USA's business objectives, brand strategies and product categories: coffee, coffee creamer, chocolate, frozen foods, pizza, snacking, baking ingredients and more. Day-to-day activities vary given the nature of our business, including but not limited to building & optimizing tool functionality, answering business questions through in-depth analysis using multiple technologies, collaborating with stakeholders in key meetings, developing and executing self-service training programs, working with vendors and attending leadership presentations. On top of the various product categories we support and the multiple technologies we use, the world of social media and AI-driven technology changes rapidly. Therefore, a balance of technical skill, strategic thinking, proactivity, flexibility and a solution-seeking attitude is crucial for success in this role. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Stakeholder Training & Guidance. Assist in the development and execution of training programs, including building training material, leading office hours and sitting one-on-one with stakeholders to guide them through use cases for social listening & social intelligence that build confidence in their ability to navigate the technology to find insights. Stakeholder Request Management. Assist the Social Intelligence Manager in managing an analysis request queue, which assigns priority to each ad-hoc social research request based on impact to the business, level of effort and urgency. This includes keeping track of stakeholder check-in cadences to ensure the Social Intelligence team is consistently engaging each key stakeholder group. Tool Output Scanning & Insights Identification. Review the automated reporting outputs from the various tools, including weekly/bi-weekly/monthly AI-driven reports and real-time email alerts, to ensure quality of the outputs as well as mine for actionable insights that need to be flagged to our stakeholders for further discussion & potential action. Tool Maintenance & Governance. Assist in the day-to-day management of the tools, from user access to dashboard/report quality, flagging issues or needs to the Social Intelligence Manager while collaborating with 3rd party and shared service support teams. Vendor Collaboration. Partnering with analysts from 3rd parties and shared service teams on key research projects and key feature advancements, as well as brainstorming and providing feedback to tool providers on ideal features and functionality that maximize actionability.
