Job Overview:

As a Sales Representative with Maximus Ag Technologies, you will play a hybrid technical-sales role focused on developing and maintaining business within the poultry industry across the Southeast U.S. You'll work directly with integrators, dealers, and growers to drive market share, manage key accounts, and support installation and ongoing use of our Maximus control systems.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and grow Maximus Ag's footprint by identifying and cultivating new customers in the poultry industry

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, integrators, and dealers throughout the territory

  • Provide technical sales support, including quoting, configuring, and programming Maximus control systems

  • Coordinate with electricians and end-users to ensure successful installation and system setup

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for post-sale support, training, and troubleshooting

  • Represent Maximus Ag at trade shows and industry events to promote products and services

  • Work closely with internal teams and distribution partners to deliver customized, high-impact solutions

  • Submit weekly sales reports, expense tracking, and pipeline updates to leadership



Requirements:


  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2+ years of related experience required

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of electrical systems (e.g., voltage, relays)

  • Valid U.S. driver's license

  • Ability to travel 50-75%, including overnights

  • Must reside in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, or South Carolina

Preferences:


  • Strong poultry industry network with integrators or large commercial growers

  • Live production experience in poultry operations strongly preferred

  • Previous experience with barn control systems (e.g., Maximus, Rotem, Chore-Time, Cumberland)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Technically inclined with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working autonomously and managing a remote territory

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and virtual collaboration tools



Travel Requirements:


  • This is a field-based role with 50-75% travel, including day trips and overnights as needed within the assigned region.
