Location: New York, Hybrid | Reports to: SVP, Shutterstock Studios

Shutterstock Studios has had an incredible year of growth - the global production studio has scaled from producing highly creative social content to producing TV spots, integrated digital campaigns, custom 3D animation and original long form documentaries for the world's biggest brands and agencies. Now, we're looking for an exceptional sales leader to take our commercial strategy to the next level.

About the opportunity

As VP, Head of Global Sales - Shutterstock Studios, you'll be the driving force behind the revenue engine of Shutterstock Studios. You'll lead a global, high-performing team, develop world-class client partnerships, and shape a go-to-market strategy that fuels our next stage of growth. You will also partner with the SVP, Shutterstock Studios business and your fellow Studios leaders to build and design the annual and multi year strategic growth plans.

This isn't just about closing deals-it's about redefining how brands connect with creativity at scale.

The day to day

  • Lead our new business global sales and account management team, setting a bold vision and building the playbook to execute it.

  • Own global revenue targets-you'll forecast, track, and deliver results that move the needle.

  • Design and implement a winning sales strategy, from vertical mapping to comp plans to pipeline health.

  • Build deep, trusted relationships with tier-1 clients, agencies, and channel partners.

  • Mentor and develop top-tier sales talent, creating a high-performing and resilient culture.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Marketing, and Product teams to bring integrated solutions to market.

  • Drive innovation through new growth models, strategic partnerships, resellers networks and internal channel management and collaboration.

What you'll bring to the role

  • A sales visionary with 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise and service-based sales. At least 5 years of direct management and at least 2 years of senior commercial leadership

  • A builder-you've scaled sales orgs, recruited top talent, and created infrastructure from scratch.

  • A creative commerce pro-you understand the world of branded content, production services, or integrated marketing solutions like the back of your hand.

  • A global leader who thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments.

  • A strategic operator-you love data, trends, forecasting, and turning insight into action.

  • A cultural fit-you're entrepreneurial, collaborative, and leave your ego at the door.

  • Bonus points if you've led hybrid teams across regions or sold into Fortune 500 marketing organizations.

The compensation package offered may vary depending on employment experience, skills, and knowledge. You may also be eligible for our generous benefits package including health, wellness and financial benefits. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of the location(s) below may differ based on the cost of labor, market, and additional factors.

The pay range for this position is below:

* 400,000 - 460,000 per year in New York

Note: Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission). Non-commission roles are expressed as base salary only but are also eligible for annual incentives.
