Sherwin-Williams is seeking motivated, learning-agile individuals who have a drive for research & development to join our R&D Accelerated Development Program (ADP). We are looking for flexible and adaptable candidates who are open to relocation for their training experience and post program position.

The R&D ADP is a high potential program designed to develop key skills and experience that will lead to R&D positions within our Global Supply Chain. In our Global Supply Chain (GSC) group, you will be exposed to different parts of GSC R&D to ensure you receive key experiences and activities to prepare for a position within our R&D Career Track.

Experiences and learnings of the R&D Accelerated Development Program include:



  • Build knowledge of paint and coatings chemistry and formulation
  • Execute testing methods and quality control using statistics software
  • Learn and build understanding of commercialization, product, industry and segment knowledge
  • Build expertise in project management and report out on results and findings
  • Create and foster relationships with global supply chain and gain knowledge of plant operations
  • Build cross-functional partnerships with and understand the interaction of Marketing, Operations, & Technical Services to execute innovation strategy.
  • Other duties as assigned


Position Requirements:

Required


  • Must have a bachelor's degree by the time of this development program
  • Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
  • Must be willing to relocate for this position AND upon completion of the program


Preferred Qualifications



  • Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience in a quality control/assurance lab or R&D or have you completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in a Quality or R&D function
  • Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.?
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience managing projects
