The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on development, manufacturing, and operation of satellite systems to address one of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space mobility. As part of a diverse and hardworking team of engineering professionals, you will design, analyze, and testavionics enclosures for electronic componentson various spacecrafts. This opportunity reports to theSpacecraft Avionics section inside of the Space Mobility business unit.As part of a growing, hardworking, and curious team ofdesign engineers,you'll be deployed to programs that shape the future of Blue Origin. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to function in a cross disciplinary team and a dynamic design environment. You need to support electronics development and trade studies, and create interface definition, specification, and control documents. You must be able to validate requirements through design, test, analysis, or inspection. You will need to plan and conduct tests,reviewand interpret data. You must be able to create assembly and/or installation drawings and supporthardwarebuilds.As an Avionics Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer, you will design avionics enclosure solutions for high reliability in harsh environments. You will participate in the entire design cycle of flight and mission critical avionics. You will work with the electrical engineering team to design rugged printed circuit board systems. You will complete thermal and structural analyses of these designs. You will create engineering drawings and manage the product configuration of the integrated designs through the product lifecycle. You will create test plans and manage testing and qualification of the product.
