Finance Analyst

Your journey as a Financial Analyst starts here. As a Financial Analyst, you will support the Finance Director by delivering financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. You will be responsible for revenue analytics, bookings, and value-added sales metrics, and will partner closely with Sales, Accounting, and Business Intelligence teams. We are seeking applicants with strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail to support our finance team.

What you will be doing:

• Analyze pipelines, bookings, and revenue trends to support forecasting and planning cycles

• Participate in the monthly close process, including variance analysis to understand and summarize the impact of revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606

• Collaborate with Accounting to align revenue recognition timing with bookings, forecasts, and annual budgets

• Support the development and maintenance of financial models and dashboards using tools like Anaplan, Essbase, Tableau, and Salesforce

• Assist in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, including revenue and margin planning

• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives

• Ability to analyze, interpret, and report key financial metrics and trends

• Proficiency in quickly turning around actuals to forecasts updates as part of monthly planning cycle

• Detail-oriented with experience working with large data sets

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Experience with financial systems (e.g., Anaplan, Essbase, Salesforce)

• Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization plus initiative to produce quality work and meet tight deadlines

• Ability to learn financial/accounting software applications to query data and report financials

What Could Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3+ years of relevant experience in revenue accounting and/or financial analysis

• Familiarity with ASC 606 and experience working with Accounting on revenue treatment
