Sales Operations Lead: This is where you come in.

We are seeking a Sales Operations Lead to support our Performance Contracting Business Unit, which serves both public and private sector markets. This role will work closely with the Performance Contracting Business Unit Leader, the Director of Sales - Energy & Sustainability, and the Sales Strategy Manager.

In addition to core responsibilities, the Sales Operations Lead will play a key role in driving sales strategies, improving operational efficiency, and managing sales data to help the business unit achieve its goals. This position is also instrumental in advancing Energy Management initiatives-including decarbonization and sustainability-by integrating these efforts into sales strategies and client interactions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, CRM administration, financial reporting, and sustainability-focused business initiatives, along with a passion for supporting team performance and accountability.

The Sales Operations Lead reports to Caleb Bradford, Sales Strategy Manager, and is part of a collaborative team focused on a range of high-impact initiatives. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to engage with stakeholders across all levels and functions of the organization, making a meaningful impact on the continued growth of our business.

Top 5 things to deliver in the first year to be a hero:

  1. Financial Reporting & Insights
    Deliver accurate monthly financial reports and CRM analytics. Build real-time KPI dashboards, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  2. Sales Strategy & Enablement
    Partner with leadership to refine sales strategies, manage high-stakes proposals, and support execution. Implement 1:1 coaching scorecards and develop case studies to support business growth.
  3. Market & Sustainability Integration
    Tailor solutions to regional markets, gather client feedback, and co-develop go-to-market plans. Integrate sustainability and decarbonization initiatives into offerings.
  4. CRM & Data Management
    Ensure CRM accuracy and lead a weekly governance council. Partner with BI for predictive analytics and maintain alignment of sales data, forecasts, and ROI.
  5. Cross-Functional & Operational Alignment
    Strengthen coordination between internal teams. Align sales and ops on shared goals, integrate sustainability into strategies, and monitor SLA adherence with regular reporting.

You should have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in financial reporting and CRM management
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, data analytics tools, and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
  • Experience or interest in sustainability, energy efficiency, or decarbonization initiatives is a plus

Compensation: $33/hour to $40/hour
