Role: Technical Writer Length: 6-Month Contract
Location: Augusta, ME (***On-Site** 5X Per Week*) Top 3 Skills Needed: * Technical Writing * Creating Digital Presentations * Employee Training Materials Project Overview: Our client is preparing to launch a new digital driver licensing system in early 2026. To support this rollout, they need clear and complete documentation finalized by December 31, 2025. This documentation will be essential for training staff before the system goes live. What You'll Do: As the Technical Writer, you'll be responsible for creating two key deliverables: * Operator's Manual - A user-friendly guide explaining how to operate the new system, including its connections with external systems. * Training Materials - Clear and engaging resources for supervisors to train both new and existing employees. Why This Role Matters: The current system lacks formal documentation. Your work will ensure that staff can confidently use the new system and that training is consistent and effective across the organization. Tools You'll Use: * Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.23 - $36.23/hr.
