Resp Therapist (CRT)

Summary:

Administers respiratory services to the homebound patient including clinical application of ventilation, oxygen, suction, and apnea monitoring. Ensures proper respiratory care is provided to patients through instruction of patient/family, direct care and follow up. Member of healthcare team providing integrated services to the patient.

Education and Experience:

• Must be a graduate of 1 or 2-year technical program with at least one year of clinical respiratory experience

• Must possess effective communication and strong clinical assessment skills

Certification/Licensure:

• CRT (NBRC)Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in State of Texas

• Valid Texas Drivers License

• CPR
