TOGETHER, WE SAVE LIVES Quality Specialist Job Summary: The Entry-Level Quality Specialist will support design and development projects by ensuring adherence to established quality standards and regulatory requirements, primarily NQA-1 and ISO 9001. This role will assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and provide quality assurance support throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual with a strong desire to learn and contribute to a robust quality program. Responsibilities: * Assist in the review of design and development documentation for compliance with NQA-1, ISO 9001, and internal quality procedures. * Support the development and maintenance of quality plans, procedures, and work instructions. * Participate in quality inspections and audits of design outputs, including specifications, drawings, and calculations. * Help track and report on quality metrics related to design and development projects. * Assist with the identification, documentation, and resolution of nonconformances and corrective actions. * Support the control of quality records and documentation. * Collaborate with engineering, project management, and other cross-functional teams to integrate quality requirements into project activities. * Learn and apply quality principles, tools, and methodologies. * Perform other business-needs duties, as assigned including supporting peers and management. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience. * Basic understanding of quality management principles. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat PDF. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in NQA-1 and ISO 9001 standards. Preferred Qualifications(but not required for entry-level): * Familiarity with NQA-1 (ASME NQA-1) and/or ISO 9001 quality standards through coursework or projects. * Experience with document control systems.
