Overview

NV5 Clean Mobility Infrastructure team provides full-service engineering and design services of electric vehicle charging infrastructure including, permitting, and owner's representative services to a variety of Clients both public charging and private fleets.

Our unique expertise includes technical knowledge and market insights of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). We work with Utilities to determine available capacity and align on design standards for associated infrastructure. We've completed hundreds of projects of varying sizes and complexities.

As our Project Coordinator, you will be supporting a team of Project Managers responsible for managing the design, permitting, construction support, and commissioning (Cx) of projects. You will support multiple projects simultaneously and provide support services in collaboration with the Project Manager by running weekly financial reports, communicating schedule updates, updating final close out reports and assisting with submitting permitting packages. The right candidate has a long-term goal of managing own projects independently.

Please note this role can be fully remote but ideally based in Southern California for occasional in-person permit submittals that may be required.



Responsibilities

Other responsibilities include:

    Keep track of project schedules and deliverables for projects which you are assigned, and follow-up with team members to maintain project schedule and communication.
  • Maintain a high level of communication within each given project team and externally to the client. This includes written (project emails, meeting minutes, proposals) and verbal (documentation of conference calls) communication.
  • Consistently work in cooperation with numerous individuals and project teams both in person and across the country by leveraging technology and project management tools for communication and coordination.
  • Attend meetings for projects you have been assigned (internal and external) per the direction of the project manager.
  • Capable of facilitating client meetings with support from NV5 Project Managers.
  • Track permit requests for multiple projects across project lifespans.
  • Help with processing permit requests, including submittal of permit packages to agencies.
  • Obtains updates on permits and updates project tracker accordingly
  • Regularly disseminate information to team members on a timely basis.
  • Track deliverables and advise appropriate team members of item status.
  • Occasional travel to permitting offices in Southern California and attend NV5 meetings.


Qualifications

We are seeking the following experience & qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field preferred
  • Project Coordinating experience within engineering and/or permitting preferred.
  • Passion for project performance.
  • Ability to track and complete project work under accelerated schedules.

The pay range for this position in California is $55,000 to $65,000 per year. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
