Position Overview

The Associate Director of Operations plays a key leadership role within TMG, responsible for overseeing strategic operations across multiple regions. This role ensures exceptional client satisfaction, high site performance, and operational excellence. The Associate Director also serves as a backup to the Executive Director and participates in senior leadership initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Provide direct support and oversight to Operations Managers across assigned regions



  • Build strong, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders through timely and effective communication



  • Deliver customer support efficiently and cost-effectively, maintaining high satisfaction levels



  • Ensure performance metrics, service level agreements (SLAs), and production standards are met or exceeded



  • Recommend and implement improvements to optimize service delivery and technology use



  • Monitor and manage operating costs within functional areas; proactively report cost overruns and implement corrective actions



  • Ensure consistent adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements



  • Oversee service delivery to ensure alignment with SLAs and contractual obligations



  • Manage budgets effectively and control operational expenses



  • Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance; take timely corrective action in accordance with company policy



  • Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation and maintain compliance




Qualifications:




  • Education:




    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field with 5+ years of operations experience, or



    • Master's degree with 3+ years of operations experience





  • Experience:




    • Minimum 3 years of experience managing client Statements of Work (SOWs) in areas such as Print, Imaging, Mail Services, Office Services, Facilities Management, Shipping & Receiving, etc.





  • Certifications:




    • Certification in Facilities Management or a related Office/Print Services field is required
