What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

  • Acts as the deployment lead for executing complex projects driving the delivery. Becomes a subject matter expert for our customers by developing an understanding of their business needs and learning how to navigate their organization. Facilitates business analysis and requirements gathering/validation, by participating in or leading business process definition workshops with client stakeholders. Ensures projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost and time schedules and ensure positive cash flow.
  • Develops a delivery strategy, roles/responsibilities, and cadence aligning the technical team with the CTC, client, and partners ensuring a common vision and expectations. Outputs of these activities may include a RACI chart, Topology Diagrams, Solution Roadmap, requirements matrix, use case specifications, functional design documents, issue tracking logs, etc. Manage scope with respect to the client and partners, actively brokering solutions for gaps or interpretation issues.
  • Collaborates with colleagues, the client and partners, actively brokering solutions for gaps or interpretation issues. This may include challenging technical solutions and driving alternative approaches. Familiarity with software deployments with regards to infrastructure architectures, cloud services, authentication, interfaces, data migration, communication protocols, etc. Have a good understanding of technical integration technologies such as REST API and JSON, webhooks, and the supporting requirements (e.g. authentication, ports, etc..).
  • Communicates the expectations of the customer with Convergint teams, subcontractors, vendors, and partners, so we are "our customer's best service provider". Always represents Convergint as a leader, providing mentoring, coaching and development of our colleagues.
  • Serves as a customer advocate and liaison between Convergint corporate, local offices, subcontractors, vendors, partners, and manufacturers. Helps develop unique approaches and introduce advanced solutions to customer challenges, building confidence in Convergint as a trusted advisor.
  • Drives consistency in delivery of Convergint complex solution delivery across multiple projects distributed globally. Actively participates in the development/deployment of standard processes and tools that drive internal efficiencies and fosters uniformity of work.
  • Ensures adherence to specific customer standards, industry's best practices, code requirements and/or market regulations.
  • Manages deployment success by ensuring highly active engagement of our partners and the client's stakeholders, generating metrics, and reporting to keep the team running effectively.



What You'll Need




  • A highly motivated person that is passionate about collaborating with others to drive results and can motivate others to do the same to improve the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills related to Program/Project Management
  • A team player who is open-minded, proactive and process driven.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with ability to deliver presentations to multiple levels of an organization.
  • Strong work ethic with personal motivation to function individually and part of a team
  • Specific experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Asana, Monday, etc.
  • Ability to create internal and external organizational alignment through relationships, communicating vision and team building.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Solid communication skills including concise written and verbal skills.
  • Familiarity with software deployments with regards to infrastructure architectures, cloud services, authentication, interfaces, data migration, communication protocols, is an asset.
  • Accomplished leader that acts as a role model while guiding, developing, and mentoring others within the organization

Requirements:

Education: College Degree

Minimum Experience: 7-10 years relevant engineering, field service or project management



  • 5 years supervisory


Preferred Experience: (but not required):



  • Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
  • Technical Bachelor's degree
