Position Title: Laser Operator
Wage: $18/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2pm-10pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Laser Operator for a company in Ixonia, WI. Laser Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate and adjust stand-alone laser as needed to cut single or multiple pieces from sheet - Remove cut products from sheet steel and sort for processing or finished goods inventory - Review shop orders, blueprints, and inspection records to determine process requirements - Examine and measure product to verify conformance to specifications using measurement equipment as specified on inspection records - Comply with policies, processes and systems of the ISO quality management system - Support the commitment to a safe work environment as stated in the safety vision and the safety manual - Load existing and adjust stand-alone laser programs - Troubleshoot stand-alone lasers Laser Operator Requirements: - High school education or equivalent - Strong industrial math skills and attention to detail - Ability to learn tasks and follow directions, including use of measurement equipment - Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment - Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English - Successful completion of Pre-Employment physical - 2-3 years of experience running a laser in a production environment a plus - Regular and predictable attendance required QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
