Milwaukee Public Schools seeks exceptional Instructional Coach - District Mentor candidates who are highly qualified and knowledgeable to join our community of teachers, learners, and leaders. The role of the District Mentor Teacher (DMT) is to provide mentoring support to new educators throughout their first year as an MPS teacher. The DMT provides mentoring around classroom management, instructional practices, and district-related systems. All District Mentor Teachers must complete mentor training and fully utilize the New Teacher Center mentoring curriculum, practices, and reporting system when providing support to new educators. District Mentor Teachers must additionally provide professional development, seminars, and training sessions to new educators and district staff. How To Apply

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
The Instructional Coach - District Mentor salary schedule starts at $60,987.04 and increases according to the set salary schedule based on education beyond the required bachelor's degree and previous years of fully licensed K-12 teaching experience.
