Job Description

Visa Direct is a payments service that Visa provides to clients (including issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants, remitters, and service providers) to facilitate money movement to and from Visa accounts in the U.S. and around the world leveraging pull and push payments technology. Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person-to-person (P2P) transfers, cross-border remittances, funds disbursements (business to consumer or small business payments), and many more.

The NA Visa Direct Commercialization, Market Strategy team plays a critical role in growing the NA Money Movement Solutions business at Visa. The team is comprised of payment professionals with strong strategic skills who are responsible for developing and executing the overall market strategy for NA Visa Direct in order to deliver on Visa's 2030 strategy.

As a member of this team, you will play a key role in the evaluation and commercialization of net new use cases, participate in the development of new and existing money movement product strategy, and help drive pricing and deal strategy across NA Visa Direct. You will be responsible for leading highly strategic initiatives end-to-end, crafting compelling business cases, identifying and solving for product gaps, leading/participating in product & solutioning discussions, and partnering with Visa Direct and non-Visa Direct Product teams to ultimately drive NA Visa Direct's market needs.

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high intellectual curiosity to learn about new concepts and products across the money movement landscape, and have the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, high change environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end use case development process, including discovery work and evaluation, opportunity sizing and business case creation, for net new use cases for NA Visa Direct. Develop preliminary go-to-market strategies, including target identification, product needs, ecosystem requirements, rules enhancements, and pricing

  • Work with external partners and internal Visa teams to devise comprehensive growth strategies across all components of Visa's money movement business

  • Develop strong expertise on Visa Direct's technology platform, its partner ecosystem, and Visa's broader money movement assets/capabilities to effectively contribute across new use case evaluation, product strategy development, and pricing activities

  • Continuously review the NA payment landscape and recommend, develop, and implement new and creative approaches to growing Visa's money movement business

  • Collaborate with and coordinate work across Visa's internal teams, including Product, Solutioning, Ecosystem, Strategy, Sales, Operations, Rules & Compliance, and more in order to execute on strategic initiatives

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

* 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD

* Experience in the payments and/or financial services industry highly preferred

* Experience in management consulting, product management, or strategic growth industries highly regarded

* Ability to independently lead and juggle numerous projects with multiple work streams at once in a highly cross-functional setting

* Ability to effectively structure and manage complex, cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders involved

* Superior problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor

* Ability to clearly communicate compelling messages and deliver presentations to senior management and external business partners

* Ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment and be able to influence senior management and other relevant stakeholders

* Proactive self-starter, team-oriented, collaborative, and driven, with excellent presentation skills, including strong verbal and written capabilities

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 159,100.00 to 230,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
