Identify a wide variety of mechanical and electrical machine parts in order to purchase replacements, determine proper stock levels, and select preferred supplier. Communicate with external service companies to coordinate machined components and equipment. The Parts Room Associate will work Monday-Friday from 7A-3P. Duties

Responsibility Assets & Operations - Responsible for maintenance of the capital investment in spare parts and supplies for the plant. Must also identify those parts that are not stocked and determine proper part name, desired stock levels and preferred vendor. Records & Reports - Responsible for the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all records initiated in the spare parts organization. Failure to maintain proper levels would result in greater downtime of manufacturing machines and higher production costs. Physical Requirements This position requires daily lifting and moving of received parts (can be up to 40 lbs). The job does require forklift operation to move heavy parts and equipment. Approximately 80% of the work performed in this position will be done standing. Forklift operation is required and will be necessary weekly.
