Human Resources Business Partner Department: Human Resources Full-time, Salary Salary Range: $76,273.60 - $90,812.80/yr Job Summary: The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a key contributor to the Employee Relations Division. The Human Resources Business Partner collaborates with Milwaukee County leaders to create a working environment that is inclusive, respectful and embodies Milwaukee County's vision of being the healthiest county in Wisconsin. The Human Resources Business Partner provides consult and guidance to people managers on workplace concerns, policy implementation, and overall employee management. The HRBP supports the selection and hiring process, workforce planning and organizational restructure initiatives. The HRBP will develop and maintain effective working relationships and support a productive work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Certification: Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The Ideal candidate for this position will have a good understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, strategic thinking and excellent organizational skills. HR Business Partner should have the ability to improve HR initiatives, instill trust, build relationships and promote HR best practices. Analytical skills, problem-solving skills, proactive nature and good people skills.
