Are you a friendly, organized, and dependable professional who enjoys connecting with people and making a great first impression? Milton CAT is looking for a confident and customer-focused Receptionist to join our Richmond, VT location. In this front-facing role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and vendors-playing a key part in delivering the outstanding service we're known for.

We're not just looking for someone to answer phones-we want a team member who brings positive energy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to help keep our office running smoothly.



Responsibilities

    Welcome and assist all guests, customers, and callers with professionalism and warmth.
  • Direct inquiries and visitors to the appropriate departments or contacts.
  • Provide accurate information about Milton CAT and our services.
  • Support customers with our self-service order kiosk and process payments for parts and merchandise.
  • Manage end-of-day cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and maintain organized filing systems.
  • Order and maintain inventory for office supplies and CAT-branded merchandise.
  • Coordinate with vendors for facility repairs and services.
  • Support multiple departments with a variety of administrative tasks and special projects.


Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of front desk or administrative experience preferred.
  • Tech-savvy with strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • A customer-first mindset with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing competing priorities with minimal supervision.
