City Experiences is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our Finance operations in Chicago.

The primary responsibility of the financial analyst will be to perform financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting to support key business decisions within City Experiences' US Division. Knowledge of financial statements, strong Excel skills, innate curiosity, and a love for numbers will lay the groundwork for shaping and growing the business. This is a high visibility role that will require a successful candidate to work directly with senior leadership.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Partner with City Experiences' management to gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans and forecasts
  • Own budget and forecasting models, including making continuous model improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting - analyze financial results, distill/synthesize key trends, and assess current and future business risks and opportunities
  • Consolidate large Excel financial models into easily digestible summary output
  • Assist with monthly P&L projections, business planning, and annual budgeting
  • Continually learn in the role to increase understanding of the company, industry, and business model
  • Support Board of Director and executive presentations
  • Assist manager with ad hoc job requests and analysis as needed
  • Additional job duties as assigned


Requirements & Qualifications:



  • 2-5 years of experiences in corporate finance, accounting, business analysis, or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in building financial and decision support models
  • Understanding of financial statements and generally accepted accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work quickly to consolidate files submitted by different business units
  • Comfortable working across varying teams, time zones, and audiences
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and complete assignments on time
