Nurse Assistant-Radiology-40 hr/ week-Days-Detroit

Despite one of our six procedure rooms being under construction for the majority of 2024, the department averaged almost 5 more cases per week than 2023. The procedure room opened in March of this year and we are now scheduling an additional 10-15 cases per week than we were in 2024. The new procedure room combined with our other efficiency initiatives is causing significant strain on our limited pre/post op area. This position will support operationalizing two additional bays that have not been utilized for patient care since I started in the department in the Spring of 2021 without requiring an additional RN. Under the direction and supervision of the responsible Registered Nurse (RN), performs specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs of the patient. Provides input to assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care. Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures.
