StoneTurn is seeking a qualified Manager to join our Forensic Accounting and Compliance & Monitoring practices.

Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for performing and managing financial and accounting-related analyses typically performed within the investigation environment. You will also supervise Senior Consultants and staff-level professionals including Consultants and Interns. You will add value to our team by having relatable experience within a professional services firm or corporation where you have developed strong analytical and excellent prioritization skills. A network of business contacts including attorneys at law firms and corporations is a plus. This position requires you to be a person with strong interpersonal, communication and technical skills. You will also assist in providing services to the Compliance & Monitoring practice area as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and manage consulting services to our clients in a variety of forensic accounting investigations possessing the ability to manage and supervise the performance of financial analyses and investigative techniques
  • Integrate with all other StoneTurn practice areas to deliver coordinated services and manage matters within our compliance and monitoring practice (as needed)
  • Understand, manage and supervise efforts to incorporate client needs and objectives into work plans and work product
  • Understand, analyze, and summarize supporting documentation
  • Read, understand and interpret company procedures and financial statements and records
  • Manage the performance of analyses while understanding their impact to financial statements
  • Manage team to compile and analyze facts and circumstances to formulate, substantiate and critique various theories, claims or conclusions
  • Supervise and manage team to understand, develop and utilize computer models streamlining detailed and potentially complex information into clear and concise analyses
  • Develop and communicate work product, both orally and in writing to management and clients
  • Draft work product to include reports and presentations of the highest quality
  • Lead engagement management administration, including budgeting, billing and conflict checks
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and relationships with firm executives
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with internal technology teams
  • Supervise Senior Consultants, Consultants and Interns and to organize and understand supporting documentation
  • Perform detailed review for quality control of all work performed by Senior Consultants, Consultants and Interns
  • Mentor and develop Senior Consultants, Consultants and Interns

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in business, accounting, or finance
  • CPA obtained (or in process/eligible) or advanced degree business, accounting or economics
  • 5+ years of strong experience in accounting or finance. Prior audit, consulting experience at a 'Big 4' or mid-size professional services firm or relevant government experience is preferred
  • Strong analytical, technical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Excellent supervision and prioritization skills
  • Commitment to exemplary client service delivery
  • Must be flexible with work schedule and travel requirements of client service projects
  • Ability to be physically in-office three days per week

Desirable Qualifications

  • Forensic certifications such as CFF, CAMS or CFE
  • MBA, ASA, and/or CFA
  • Client service experience preferred, national public accounting firm experience
  • Network of relationships within law firms and corporate legal departments
  • Foreign language capabilities
  • Experience providing litigation services
  • Experience within crypto-currency and blockchain investigations
