Job Description: This position allows you to assist customers in optimally crafting, deploying, operating, and continuously improving cost-effective solutions based on aService-Aware Operating System (SAOS) based Routing & Switching portfolio (RSP) and its associated network management platform. This is an on-customer premise technical role with a focus on facilitating customers to understand technology through "hands-on" testing for product evaluation, type approval testing, preparation of test results, and corresponding documentation. As an individual contributor - technical SME (hands-on) role, your prior experience in feature testing on L2/L3 platforms (Ciena, Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Adva) for establishing solution topology in a lab will allow you to prosper in the role. Your past operating knowledge of technologies essential to packet networking solutions is meaningful for your success, and being familiar with the Ciena Routing & Switching portfolio will set you apart in performing these tasks: Daily Responsibilities:

Education: BS or MS in CS/EE/CE coupled with 8+ years in the telecommunications-related industry. Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available. Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
