Description Position at K&D Factory Service Part Specialist We are currently seeking a qualified person who wants to work in a fast-paced and fun environment. K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our Parts Specialist supports 7 branches in York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, Scranton, and Harrisburg, where the position is based. Responsibilities and Duties: We focus on excellent customer service with customers, technicians, and vendors Placing purchase orders with vendors, we take pride and great care in every order we fill for our customers. Problem resolution with customers and vendors. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Warm and friendly phone voice Inventory management experience preferred but not necessary Ability to work in a high-paced environment A willingness to learn and adapt to an ever-changing industry Limited travel to branches Must be able to lift 30 lbs Physically able to climb in and out of a work truck Must be comfortable working in enclosed environments when necessary What K&D has to offer Competitive hourly wage Team-based performance incentives Paid time off & holiday pay Industry Competitive benefits package: Health, Dental, and Vision Company match 401 (k) Company-provided long-term and short-term disability Town Shares Program Employer-paid life insurance Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
