About the Job

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator and Community Liaison Officer (Research Professional 1) to join our research team for a series of projects for community engagement and treatment development for disease of addiction. The selected candidate will play a key role in coordinating and conducting community engagement activities and patient recruitment related to these projects.

We hope to make a partnership between Minnesota Recovery Communities and Medical Discovery Team on Addiction (MDTA) at University of Minnesota to launch Minnesota's Innovations in Recovery Network (MIREN). MIREN will be a network of communities, caregivers, and neuroscience researchers working together to create and implement innovative roads to successful, sustained recovery.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Community Engagement and Mobilization (50%): Developing a map of addiction recovery communities, developing partnerships and running group discussions on their needs and priorities that could be potentially addressed by neuroscience-informed interventions.
2. Study Coordination (15%): Overseeing executive aspects of the research project, including recruitment, screening, and enrollment of study participants. Ensuring that study protocols are followed, and that data is collected accurately.
3. Participant Management (20%): Coordinating participant scheduling, conduct assessments, and monitor participants' progress throughout the study. Address any participant-related issues promptly and professionally.
4. Compliance and Ethics (5%): Ensure that the study complies with all applicable regulations and ethical guidelines. Obtain informed consent from participants and maintain confidentiality of data.
5. Documentation and Reporting (10%): Maintain detailed and accurate records of all community engagement and research activities, including participant records, study documentation, and data. Prepare regular progress reports for the principal investigator and funding agencies.

All required qualifications must be included in the application materials

Required Qualifications:

-BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 4 years
-Previous experience working with individuals with mental health conditions
-ADAPT Certified Functional Heath Coach (A-CFHC) Certification

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: The salary range is $25-$28/hour depending on education/qualifications/experience
