Senior Accountant

Pay Rate: $90,000 - $100,000/year

Position Summary:

The Senior Accountant will assist the Director of Accounting by preparing consolidated financial statements. Ensure that all deliverables comply with regulatory guidance and professional standards. Additionally, you will work with accounting-related general ledger and other special projects assigned by management. The Senior Accountant will primarily assist with monthly close processes and procedures.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in timely and accurate financial reporting as well as implementation of controls around operations and SOX compliance. He/she will be a valued member of the Corporate Accounting Team as well as the Corporate-wide Finance Team.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing company financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow, etc.)
• Help with preparing 10-Q and 10-K supporting schedules
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual flux analysis for management review
• Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance for bank covenants, including financial statements, covenant calculations, and certifications
• Work on various special projects and perform other accounting assignments as assigned by management
• Document policies, procedures, and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility
• Prepare quarterly and annual Disclosure Committee Deck and Audit Committee Deck
• Accountable for sponsoring, promoting, and/or supporting a strong control environment
• Ensure that good internal controls are in place and are followed for the areas of responsibility

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• At least 3-5 years of financial reporting experience, including progressively responsible experience
• Positive attitude, ethics, and international values that support our company's values, and a healthy, high-performance attitude
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple competing priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Effective communicator (both written and verbal)
• Excellent administrative, organizational, and time management skills
• Availability and willingness to work overtime as needed
• Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, or similar programs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate strongly preferred
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred; however, general accounting experience acceptable
• Experience with EPICOR is a plus
