Warehouse Lead

Are you a skilled forklift operator with a knack for leadership and a passion for warehouse operations? Staffmark is hiring a Warehouse Lead to join a top-tier distributor of chips, snacks, and packaged products in Manor, TX. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines team coordination, equipment operation, and daily warehouse execution.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.50/hr (based on shift)

Schedule: 4 days/week, including one weekend day; shifts start between 9 AM-12 AM; 10-12+ hour shifts; 24/7 facility

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach warehouse associates, training and supporting them to meet performance goals
• Operate stand-up electric forklifts (Crown - Class II) and cherry pickers
• Pick, pull, and stage product according to order requirements
• Load and unload delivery trucks with care and accuracy
• Oversee daily warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory
• Conduct equipment checks and report issues
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor as needed in daily operations and team management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 1+ year operating Crown stand-up forklifts (Class II) and cherry pickers
• Forklift/cherry picker certification or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver's license; CDL a plus
• Previous leadership or coaching experience in a warehouse setting
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout shift
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
• Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented
