D035 Stock Control System (SCS) Analyst

Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking a D035 Stock Control System (SCS) Analyst with deep familiarity with the U.S. Air Force subsystems (D035A, D035B, D035C, D035K, and D035L). This role demands a professional with experience in legacy mainframe-based logistics environments, including experience interpreting and querying data using tools such as QMF, JCL, IDMS/VSAM datasets, and COBOL/Natural-based reports.

This role supports logistics optimization, audit readiness, and data integrity for the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), directly enhancing supply chain transparency and readiness across critical weapon system programs. This position is on-site at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB).

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Subsystem Mastery: Leverage expertise in D035 subsystems (A, B, C, K, L) to support stock control, requisition processing, asset management, receiving/shipping, and inventory accountability functions.
• Mainframe Data Querying: Execute and interpret data queries using mainframe tools such as QMF, Natural, and JCL scripts across IDMS or VSAM-based data environments.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate validated logistics data outputs and support reporting to AFSC stakeholders; reconcile SCS data with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) standards.
• Integration Support: Assist with integration of D035 outputs into modern BI platforms (SQL Server, Power BI) via coordination with middleware and ETL teams.
• Audit Readiness: Review and validate SCS outputs for compliance with DoD FIAR guidance; support documentation for audit trails and reconciliations.
• Process Modernization: Recommend process and query optimizations within the D035 environment to support CSAG-S budgeting, depot repairable management, and supply chain agility.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Active or recent use of D035A, D035B, D035C, D035K, and D035L.
• Knowledge of COBOL-based legacy Air Force logistics systems.
• Experience querying data using QMF, JCL, or Natural.
• Familiarity with IDMS or VSAM data structures.
• Expertise in logistics supply chain management (wholesale and retail).
• Experience reconciling SCS data to CSAG-S budgets and forecasts.
• Understanding of DLR processes, audit readiness, and DoD logistics policies.
• U.S. citizenship required

Nice to Have Skills

• Knowledge of D035 data integration with modern SQL-based BI tools.
• Exposure to middleware such as COGNOS or Informatica.
• Working knowledge of POM forecasting tools or CSWS DE.

Education and Experience:

• 10 years of experience.
• A MA/MS degree is desirable.
