Job Description: Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to provide dedicated support to the Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT) under the Army's Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) program. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in developmental and operational testing across the acquisition lifecycle, with a focus on assured PNT systems including Mounted Assured PNT System (MAPS) and Dismounted Assured PNT System (DAPS). The position supports test and evaluation activities at both CONUS and OCONUS locations and contributes to the lifecycle management of current and future PNT capabilities. A solid understanding of DoD T&E policies, test readiness planning, and coordination with evaluation agencies is highly preferred. This is an on-site position at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. Duties/ Responsibilities: Test Planning and Oversight
- Support planning and execution of PNT test events and test activities in accordance with the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP).
- Assist with preparation and conduct of Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and milestone assessments.
- Coordinate with developmental and operational test agencies to facilitate planning, execution, and analysis.
- Participate in the scheduling and integration of PNT tests within the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Evaluate test objectives and assist in defining verification and validation (V&V) strategies.
Test Execution and Support
- Provide on-site support during testing to witness events, collect data, and monitor system performance.
- Ensure system performance is assessed in line with Army test and evaluation procedures and mission profiles.
- Assist with configuration management during test events to ensure data integrity.
Documentation and Reporting
- Assist in the creation, review, and updating of test plans, test procedures, and post-test reports.
- Contribute to the generation of decision briefings, data analysis reports, and CDRLs associated with test outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain minutes for T&E working groups and stakeholder engagements.
- Support development of Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) test strategies and reports.
Coordination and Communication
- Work collaboratively with PM PNT Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), external test agencies, and evaluation authorities.
- Facilitate coordination between PM PNT, Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), and other DoD stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness of emerging test requirements and evolving Army standards to ensure compliance.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 3-5 years of experience supporting DoD acquisition programs in a T&E capacity.
- In-depth understanding of DoD T&E processes, including TEMP and TES documentation.
- Proficiency in test planning, execution, data collection, and analysis.
- Familiarity with developmental and operational test phases and Army evaluation agencies (e.g., ATEC).
- Experience working within Integrated Product Teams and supporting milestone reviews.
- Strong writing and presentation skills; able to develop technical documentation, briefings, and reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
- U.S Citizenship required.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with biometrics and navigation technologies.
- Experience coordinating with Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) or Joint Staff J-6.
- Knowledge of Net-Ready Key Performance Parameters (NR-KPPs).
- Understanding of DoDI 5000.89, AR 70-1, and related Army T&E policies.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in DoD systems acquisition.
