Business Analyst

Genesis10 is currently looking for a Business Analyst for a 12 month contract role for our client in St. Paul, MN. This role is 100% on site.

Summary:

New BA for Payments Team

Program PLANT is modernizing the existing Mainframe Loan Servicing and Loan Accounting systems for the AgriBank district. The team must modernize to provide a parity or parity + experience to end users. The Core of the new platform will be a Client product known as DNA.

Responsibilities:

• Actively manage product backlog
• Research and capture requirements for User Stories
  
  Produce meeting notes from discovery interviews
• Write acceptance criteria
• Facilitate story discussions in internal team meetings as needed
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standup, demos, etc.)
• QA test, as needed, in preparation of moving to UAT
  
  

Key Experience(s)

• Prior experience as a Business Analyst
• Understanding of Agile (SCRUM) practices
• Story writing in Agile formats
• Previously run or contributed to discovery interviews
• Previous experience in Development
• Previous experience in event driven architecture
• Previous experience in application scheduled work
• Familiarity with databases and how to query
• Ability to read API documentation and understand how to integrate with them
• SQL experience
• Previous DNA knowledge; API's, ACH process
• Previous work in Financial Services or Farm Credit

Key Skill(s):

• Good communicator, both written and verbal
• Well organized
• Attention to detail
• Visionary - One that can piece the big picture together given the defined purpose of the work at hand

Key Technology /Certification(s):

• CSPO a plus
• SAFe certified a plus
• ADO experience a plus

Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay rate $60.00 to $70.00/hr

We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
