As a Security Professional - Transit Patrol in NEWARK , NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a transportation setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a secure environment by working collaboratively with your team, upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity, and always putting people first.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
