ERP Business Systems Analyst | Full Time

THIS POSITION WILL HAVE AN ONSITE REQUIREMENT. CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With this knowledge, designs or updates moderately complex information systems that include analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary. Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. The ideal candidate will have experience using analytical skills to seek out, research and evaluate a variety of options to provide clients with high quality, efficient business processes and solutions that promote efficiency and enterprise-wide standardization. Must demonstrate the ability to mediate and bridge the relationship between technical and business stakeholders without compromising the needs of the solution users and the strategic goals of the organization.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Subject matter expert (SME) in one or more applications' capabilities and features for users, owners, and administrators of solutions.
• Collaborates with work teams, departments, system leadership, staff, other IT groups, and technology vendors to define needs and facilitate solutions.
• Provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs and develops business specifications to support these modifications.
• Creates test scenarios and develops test plans to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that client requirements are incorporated in to the system design.
• Assists in analyzing testing results throughout the project.
• Provides on call second-level escalation response for client issues and problem tickets
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ERP systems and third-party systems.
• Work closely with FSCM, HRIS, payroll business stakeholders to gather integration requirements.
• Build and manage integration processes including Boomi processes, connectors, and error-handling logic for smooth data transmission.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing integrations for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure integrations adhere to security, compliance, and data governance standards.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments and participate in planning and review sessions.
• Assists senior team members in conducting conference room pilots and demonstrations.
