Here's what you'd do:

  • The expatriate tax accounting representative will manage inquiries and metrics from the global mobility team, employees on international assignments (expatriates) and business units.
  • The representative will also be responsible for the administration associated with an expatriate tax operation, including developing and maintaining metrics, lists and databases for tax services and frequent business travelers.
  • We have a team approach to provide high-quality service for expatriate tax compliance, planning, and general business operations.
  • Provide updates to financial reports, process vendor invoices and statuses via email communication.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business or Global Management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Excel and pivot tables to analyze large amounts of data.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with PowerPoint, Excel to include VLOOKUP to provide and maintain monthly metrics
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with individual income tax returns.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in performing, compiling, and analyzing compensation data and tasks accurately.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with payroll and accounts receivable.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in MS Excel, data analytics, metrics, pivot and V-Lookup tables, and critical follow-through to closure.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in performing, compiling, and analyzing compensation data and tasks accurately.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Audit experience
  • Experience in problem-solving activities such as reported and escalating issues to work with the employee and stakeholders to closure and resolution.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting, taxation principles and guidelines
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills are critical and constantly in use when working with our expatriate population to provide education and understanding of U.S. and foreign taxes.
  • Ability to work well independently, but function within a team environment.
  • Proven ability to recognize potential issues
  • Ability to create metrics on work activities
  • The ability to accurately calculate, record, manage payments/ amounts owed, reconciliation and post to individual employee files.
  • The ability to handle fast-paced environment and multi-task with large volume of data and complete repetitive tasks to closure.
  • Compensation discrepancy research, problem-solving abilities, a high level of attention to detail and good written and oral communication skills are needed.
  • Ability to work as a great team player in a fast-paced team environment and multi-task numerous projects.
  • Strong attention to detail-oriented, logical, and methodological and proactive approach to problem-solving, preparing.
