Are you a detail-loving, Excel-wielding problem solver with a knack for manufacturing metrics? We're looking for a Cost Accountant to play a vital role in shaping how the company understands and manages their production costs. This is your opportunity to step into a highly visible role where your insights will influence real-time decisions and drive operational success.
Why This Role: * You'll collaborate with operations and senior leadership to provide deep-dive cost analysis and support monthly financial closings. * You'll own the numbers-think BOMs, work orders, raw material pricing, inventory reconciliations-and help ensure every dollar makes sense. * This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who thrives on finding efficiencies and adding value across the business. What You'll Be Doing: * Analyze manufacturing variances and provide actionable reporting to management. * Set up product codes and Bills of Materials with precision and accuracy. * Support development of labor and overhead burden rates. * Review and close work orders, verify raw material pricing, and process inventory adjustments. * Reconcile inventory subledger to the general ledger each month. * Assist the Corporate Controller and team with other accounting support as needed. What You Bring to the Table: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Cost or Manufacturing focus preferred). * 2+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. * Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
