The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking a Marketing Platform Lead SME to own and optimize our use of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys and Data marketing app. This role sits within the Sales Operations team, reports to the CRM Manager and partners closely with Marketing, CRM, and Business Applications. You'll serve as the system lead and provide strategic support for how we use D365 Customer Insights to create smarter marketing journeys and more personalized customer experiences.

This is a business-facing, platform-focused role - not a developer position. We're looking for someone who can manage and configure the D365 Customer Insights platform and work closely with marketing teams to apply its capabilities in meaningful ways. That includes helping design journeys, use segments, and interpret insights - not building custom code or managing plug-ins.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with the D365 Customer Insights application, including both the Data and Journeys modules. This role requires basic technical platform knowledge and the ability to support and enable non-technical marketing teams with a solid understanding of how D365 Customer Insights handles data ingestion, unification, segmentation, and journey design. The successful candidate will help marketing users apply these tools to improve targeting, engagement, and decision-making.

You'll also be responsible for training the marketing team, supporting CRM integration, and managing survey programs (NPS/CSAT) using D365 Customer Voice.

What You'll Do



  • Lead and manage the Dynamics 365 Customer Insights platform (Journeys & Data), including data sources, unified customer profiles, segment creation, and journey orchestration in partnership with the Digital Marketing Specialist.
  • Configure and maintain customer journeys that are automated, personalized, and aligned with business goals.
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for D365 Customer Insights, providing best practices, troubleshooting support, and guidance across teams.
  • Collaborate with CRM, Marketing, and Business Applications teams to maintain data quality, support regular data cleaning, and ensure smooth integration with D365 CRM.
  • Monitor platform health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the solution remains scalable and effective.
  • Train and support the marketing team in using D365 Customer Insights for campaign design, segmentation, and performance tracking.
  • Work with marketing, sales, analytics, and strategy teams to define requirements, improve segmentation strategies, and help teams use data to prioritize outreach.
  • Support Sales teams in understanding and using marketing data within D365 CRM to drive engagement and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Implement and manage NPS/CSAT surveys using Customer Voice, integrating results into Customer Insights to support sales strategy and customer engagement.



What We Expect from You



  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the Dynamics 365 Marketing app or the Customer Insights platform (Journeys & Data), including configuration, data management, segmentation, and journey design.
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation best practices and how to turn insights into action.
  • Experience using Customer Insights alongside Dynamics 365 CRM, marketing tools, and platforms like Customer Voice to support outreach, surveys and customer feedback.
  • Ability to manage platform changes and updates in a structured way that supports business needs.
  • Demonstrated experience enabling marketing teams to use D365 Customer Insights for targeted campaigns, outreach, and analysis.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on maintaining clean, accurate customer data.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven collaboration across cross-functional teams to align business and technical goals.
  • Must be authorized to work permanently in the U.S.

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $91,100 - $123,200
