Job Description/Tasks/Responsibilities

Provides fabrication support for new engineered equipment fabrication, maintenance/repair of operating engineered equipment and maintenance/repair of contaminated operating engineered equipment.
Provides mechanical fabrication support including layout, fit up and welding on new engineered equipment fabrication.
Performs required maintenance procedures on operating engineered equipment returned for routine maintenance.
Performs troubleshooting and repairs to operating engineered equipment returned for repair work.
Performs routine testing such as hydrostatic testing of hoses and spools in accordance with approved procedures.
Prepares and packages equipment for shipment to customer.
Performs assignments independently with the exception of unusual or complex processes, which are referred to a supervisor.
Can weld in multiple positions on multiple procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Skills

Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
Ability to read and understand equipment design drawings and equipment specifications
Effective hand and power tool skills
Basic computer skills
Strong communication skills

Physical/Mental Requirements and Working Conditions

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to wear respiratory protection and work in temperature extremes
Ability to stand and walk
Ability to effectively communicate; speaking, reading, understanding, writing and hearing clear English; pass audiogram in hearing conservation program as required by location
Ability to work in extreme temperatures
Ability to wear a respirator and work around respirable dust
Ability to work in or around moving vehicles
Basic math skills; mechanical ability
Ability to wear protective equipment such as: goggles, ear plugs, hard hat, gloves, and steel toe boots
Ability to work around fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts
Ability to perceive depth and adjust focus; basic hand/eye coordination
Ability to see close and distance, basic colors/shades, and peripheral vision
Forklift certified

Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
*Education* High School diploma or GED	*Certifications* General Employee Training (GET) RAD certified Forklift certified Certified welder preferred
*Required Experience* Minimum of 5 years experience	*Preferred Experience* None
