Location: Whitesboro, NY

Responsibilities:

In this Machinist role your responsibilities & activities will include:

• Operates high speed grinding wheels, bobs and emery belts to perform finish polish operation on parts.
• Operate automatic polishing robot
• Removes stock from part to maintain proper visual appearance, contour, dimension and end match
• Changes and dresses wheels, belts, and bobs as required
• Interpret and polish to qualify part to Cordax report
• Ability to read and interpret process sheets and polish to qualify to guillotine and dimensions.
• Polish to all required gages and process sheets.
• Must follow all safety and health polices including use of all required PPE required for this position.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to stay on task during required hours
• Must be self-motivated and dependable

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior polishing experience
• Experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, and walk
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $23.00 - No Maximum Hourly rate. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, and geographic location.
